Reason for Recall

Compression bandage may be degraded, which may cause unwanted foreign material to be introduced inside the wound, which may lead to wound exploration and irrigation, formation of scar tissue, and infection.

Firm Action

On 9/4/2026, recall notices were mailed to customers who were asked to do the following: 1) Quarantine and remove all affected bandages from all points of use, including emergency kits, ambulances, storage and training areas. 2) If the affected bandage was purchased as a component of a kit, physically open the kit, remove the Battle Bandage and place into quarantine. 3) Complete and return the recall acknowledgement and receipt form via email to [email protected] In addition, distributors were asked to: Forward this information to any point of sale where you have sold the affected product(s).
